It has to be overemphasized that school like our university put the right person on our EMC that is there to help us when we have no confidence in manipulating equipment like laptop for a power presentation.

LB#17 ASSESSMENT IN A CONSTRUCTIVIST ,technology supported learning

We should go beyond memorizing for test and we should not study only for a passing score and a passing grade. A kind of campaign from constructivist, that students today for the sake of their grades, just get into memorizing in order to pass the examination because most of our teachers also gave a kind of traditional way of assessing the learners by paper and pencil test. In cognitive domain in Principles of Teaching memorization is the basic, the knowledge it is not bad to memorize but we must go beyond that, from paper and pencil test we will combine it with authentic assessment in which students perform will perform real world task,a higher level form of assessment that requires basic skills of writing and speaking, computing and more complex skills In this kind of assessment students are scored based on the given rubrics. From basic form of knowledge to higher form of order thinking's skills enable both students and teachers to be more globally competitive.

LB#16 TEACHING-LEARNING STATEGY

Effective use of project-based multimedia learning requires through planning.
   1. clarifying goals and objectives
   2. how much time is needed and students involvement in decision making
   3. forms of collaboration
   4. identifying and determining process needed
   5. mode to measure students learn
We use strategy to enable students to remember and understand better content as they perform real-world tasks such as researching for answers to problems, analyzing case, making decision and working with others. It is in our hands what kinds of strategy we want to have as long as we can provide a road map to our learners to be able to simplify the task we gave.

LB#15 PROJECT-based LEARNING and MULTIMEDIA

A teaching method in which students acquire new knowledge and skills in the course of designing, planning, and producing multimedia product. It enables teachers to face additional assessment challenges because multimedia products by themselves do not represent a full picture of student learning, in short students do not learn simply by using ,they learn by creating it on themselves. Using this teaching method is a great help for teachers because it will motivate the students, it enables students to engage on the learning task. But teachers should know his/her objectives while using this method to avoid the wrong track.

LB #14 MAXIMIZING the use of the OVERHEAD PROJECTOR and the CHALKBOARD

Using these instructional materials that will aide the learners to understand the lesson, but this instructional materials should not replace the teachers capability on teaching.
CHALK BOARD are tools for any written activity, almost all people uses this especially teachers. It is a great help, but chalkboard alone is not enough, teacher should maximize the use of it.Words should not overcrowd on it, therefore teacher should explains other information that can't be found on the board.

Just like using the overhead projector, teacher should know how to use it, so that she/he can deliver the lesson effectively. These two instructional materials are parts of our teaching profession, this should not disable our teachers.

LB #12 The Power of Films, Video and TV in the Classroom

Watching television or watching video is a common entertainment for the people of today. But, maybe sometimes, we just can't notice that they are educational in many ways. For instance when we are watching news in television which keeps us updated in the happenings in our country. And watching films has it's advantages as well; it can help improve our communication skill especially in using the English language. Above all, viewing movies in the class is very useful in helping the students learn the lessons easily. It can also make them to be interested in the subject because watching a movie is also entertaining.
But, the teacher should always have a reason in letting his/her student watch a film or movie, it should be related  in his or her lessons.

LB #11 Making The Most of Community Resources and Field Trips

Field trip is best applicable if you want your learner to be exposed on real things or movements that is found on your lesson that you want to clarify with them for them to experience it themselves.
Having field trips must undergo a process of planning to avoid some disturbances, and they are as follows:

  • know the place your going to go and have a map for your guide.
  • There should be a tour guide who will introduce upon arriving at the place.
  • Be on time
  • Students have the opportunity to obtain answer to their questions.
"What I hear, I forget, What I see, I remember", field trips are opportunities for rich and memorable experiences which are fundamentals to learning last. It enables the students to learn beyond what is written and found in their books. It serves as an application on what they've read and hear from their teacher. It brings some realization to the learners tht may lead to changing their attitudes, insight and perspective.

Disadvantages:
  1. It is costly
  2. It involves logistics
  3. Extravagant with time
  4. Contains an element of uncertainty
If I'm going to have a field trip, I should plan it ahead of time so that I can inquire and negotiate our transportation with a discount. I'll propose a plan that serves as an overview of what will be going on if my students will join. As a teacher, I should think also if the trip is really needed and applicable on the subject matter.

LB# 10 Demonstrations in Teaching

Demonstrations are very useful in teaching because it's what makes the student interested in knowing the lesson more. It is what a teacher does when she/he is showing the student how a particular thing or work is done. There are guiding principles that must be observed in using demonstrations by Edgar Dale and they are as follows: First, establish rapport; this is when a teacher makes the students at ease and stimulate their interest so that their focus will be on the teacher only. Second is avoiding the COIK fallacy (Clear Only If Known). This means that the teacher should always assume that the students know nothing about the subject. And the last one is Watching for Key points. This is where the learners face the stumbling blocks or the things that gives them difficulty to understand and it's where the teacher highlights a particular point and make it clearer for the students to understand.

LB# 9 Teaching With Dramatized Experience

A teacher must find ways in presenting her/his lesson effectively, a presentation that will prevent the class from boredom and will catch the learners attention. By dramatization, the above mentioned will be attained if we are an effective user of it. Of course by having our lesson dramatized, we make sure that, the materials we present are suitable for the learner and will make the subject more clearer. The learner gets attracted on the lesson once it is being presented on a correct manner and they will get involved on it. Involving our learner on the lesson we have will somewhat give an impact on their lives.
A teacher must be equipped with different styles on how she/he presents the lesson. A teacher should use an instructional device like puppet to make the lesson an enjoyable one. Dramatizing the lesson enables the learner to understand easily and it makes the lesson interesting that will surely motivate the student and will make them more attentive and participative in the class.
